The process is very simple.

  • Affordable distribution is NOT debt review or debt counselling, nor administration
  • There are NO court or legislative processes
  • We simply determine who you owe money to
  • We then ascertain how much you can afford to pay each month
  • To perform the above assessment, we will bill you R685 once off
  • Should you wish to continue with the process, we will determine an affordable monthly amount in consultation with you (Minimum R2,500)
  • We negotiate an affordable monthly instalment with everyone you owe money to
  • The amount you pay is divided between everyone you owe money to over a period of time
  • You pay us one amount and we pay everyone else
  • Our service to you is NOT listed on the credit bureaus
  • The people you owe money to might have listed you, but once they are paid we can assist in clearing your credit record

You are under no obligation to take up any of our services when our agent calls you.

Should you however decide to take up one or more of our offerings, and verify such transaction telephonically with us, you are liable to honour the payment/s agreed on.

Will your services reflect on the credit bureaus?2020-05-10T14:06:48+02:00

Our services do not place you under negative financial or legal proceedings, and will not reflect in an adverse way on any credit bureaus.

Can I cancel my agreement with Finwell Legal Services?2021-06-12T16:07:16+02:00

Should you wish to cancel your agreement, you need to engage with our client service department – details below.

Because we negotiate with your creditors on your behalf, we need to honour arrangements we may have with them.

While cancellation may be possible, there are consequences, and you need to be aware of the impact.

By default, we hold you to the agreement that you have with us.

Why do creditors continue to phone or harrass me?2020-06-18T10:01:12+02:00

There could be different reasons for this.

  1. Keep in mind that before your first payment to us, your status with creditors remain unchanged.
  2. Even after your first payment, distribution of funds needs to happen and it takes time for creditors to fully get on board and change your status.
  3. It is also possible that the creditor concerned has gaps in the records or client management processes. As a result, you could still receive calls.

In all cases, you are welcome to refer them to us.
